He was lost in Sacramento, CA. He is 11
yrs old.

LOOKING FOR CHRIS…..
About two weeks ago a young male Afghan Hound went missing in
the area around Pearkes Drive in Richmond, BC (just south of Vancoover). He
was being cared for by relatives of the owner who is in China, and we just
learned of his plight.
"We" are his breeder in Australia, her friend and colleague in
Ottawa, and Afghan Rescue (Afghan Hound Club of Canada).
The dog is a tall male who answers to the name "Chris".
He is solid black with a white chest blaze. He is 16 months old, with a
solid, stable temperament. It is not known yet if he has been neutered.
His microchip was implanted in Australia. It is registered to
Yue (Kate) Li.
We have contacted vets in the area, as well as the SPCA, and
are hoping you may be able to help by posting this or simply being alert to
the possibility he may cross your path
His whereabouts and safety are our prime concerns.
Any information regarding this dog would be gratefully received.

Sara Lost in San Antonio |
Sara is a 3 year old spayed
bitch. She is black with Tan (Gold) paws. I've never seen an Afghan Hound
with this pattern.
She was lost about April 2, 2009,
in San Antonio, TX. She is not micro chipped and was wearing a collar.
According to someone that sent a
message on craigslist, she has been spotted. She is very friendly and will
come to you.
She was in her back yard and
jumped a 6' fence after a deer.

Afghan Hound Lost in Louisania |

On Tuesday last Zynsky opened his crate and
cleared the 6 ft high cyclone fencing (that was electrical and Zynsky
had touched and knew that it gave a shock). Karen and I have notified
every shelter, pound and Vet in her parish and those around her....I
created a flyer that has been put up repeatedly because of the rain...I
have posted a 'bail' for any live stock that he may go after. His AWOL
status has been posted on two Afghan sites....
